You are certainly aware that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has been involved in the formation of radical Islamic militias over the past 42 years and has attempted to attack and threaten the security and sovereignty of democratic countries through these groups. At the same time, the Revolutionary Guards have attempted to impose their will on these countries respectively to compromise democracy in Western countries by taking Western citizens hostage.
The Revolutionary Guards are widely known to be involved in money laundering and drug trafficking around the world.
The Revolutionary Guards have carried out more than 15 assassinations in European countries, including the assassination of Dr. Shapour Bakhtiar in Paris on December 6, 1994, the assassination of Dr. Sadeq Sharafkandi and his comrades in Berlin on April 10, 1997, and an attempt to blow up the Mujahideen Organization meeting in Brussels on May 5, 2021. The latter three were convicted and sentenced by final judgment.
Kurdish political activists have constituted one of the main targets of Revolutionary Guards terrorism over the past 42 years. According to the attached letter, 451 Kurdish political activists have been murdered by the Revolutionary Guards.
We, as your Kurdish citizens, feel threatened by the terrorism of the Revolutionary Guards and request that the Revolutionary Guards are added to the European Union’s terror list. The inclusion of the Revolutionary Guards on the terror list will help democratic countries to fight the drug market and terrorism.
